> BRUNO PEIXE DIAS
With an economy degree from the Economic and Business Sciences Faculty of the “Universidade Católica Portuguesa”, Bruno Dias started his professional activity as a trainee in the research department of the advertising company Initiative Media, and later became a business network consultant at the “Instituto Tecnológico” for the European Community.
His interest in sociology led him to start a master’s degree course in this area and was also a reason for him being hired by Númena, where he started by working as the employment area coordinator for the Portuguese Focal Point of the RAXEN network, promoted by the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (EUMC). In October 2003 he took over the coordination of the Portuguese Focal Point and has continued this work ever since. In the meantime, his job contract has been renewed following an international public tender process.
